ActiveHired is expanding its remote specialist bench with a Online Agronomy, Forestry & Environmental Science Advisor — AI Model Training & Evaluation — Generative AI Domain Expert at $40 - $60/hour. Contributors work asynchronously from home across major English-speaking countries, translating real-world workflows in Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Conservation into high-signal training examples and multi-step evaluation criteria for enterprise AI models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Advise on regulatory frameworks, sustainability initiatives, and emerging trends relevant to agriculture, forestry, and environmental conservation.
• Participate in written and verbal discussions to clarify project objectives, share insights, and align on deliverables.
• Support interdisciplinary collaboration among project stakeholders, ensuring consistent application of expert knowledge throughout project phases.
• Demonstrated professional or academic background in Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Conservation.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.
• High attention to detail when reviewing technical or domain-specific documentation.
• Self-motivated and reliable within an asynchronous remote work environment.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Experience collaborating on interdisciplinary projects or with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field is highly regarded.
• Compensation Band: $40 - $60/hour

• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in agriculture, forestry, environmental conservation, or related subdomains (including agricultural engineering, food science, farm/ranch management, conservation science, or forestry).
