ActiveHired is expanding its remote specialist bench with a Online Industrial Design CAD Specialist — AI Model Training & Evaluation — Generative AI Domain Expert at $40 - $80/hour. Contributors work asynchronously from home across major English-speaking countries, translating real-world workflows in freecad, cad assembly interpretation, mechanical engineering, technical documentation into high-signal training examples and multi-step evaluation criteria for enterprise AI models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Leverage your expertise in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design to identify key assembly features and technical nuances.
• Collaborate with project coordinators, providing feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement of project processes.
• Demonstrated professional or academic background in freecad, cad assembly interpretation, mechanical engineering, technical documentation, written communication.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.
• High attention to detail when reviewing technical or domain-specific documentation.
• Self-motivated and reliable within an asynchronous remote work environment.
• Review complex multi-part CAD assemblies provided in native FreeCAD format and analyze their design intent.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Ability to work independently, manage deliverables, and consistently meet project expectations.
• Passion for supporting technical education, assessment, or AI-related initiatives through expert-driven content.
• Compensation Band: $40 - $80/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
