ActiveHired is expanding its remote specialist bench with a Online Telugu Audio Transcription & Linguistic Specialist — AI Model Training & Evaluation — Generative AI Domain Expert at $10 - $24/hour. Contributors work asynchronously from home across major English-speaking countries, translating real-world workflows in telugu language proficiency, transcription, linguistic annotation, editing and proofreading into high-signal training examples and multi-step evaluation criteria for enterprise AI models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project stakeholders through effective written and verbal communication channels.
• Meet project milestones by delivering high-quality, timely transcriptions and annotations.
• Identify and report language nuances, challenges, or ambiguities encountered during transcription tasks.
• Demonstrated professional or academic background in telugu language proficiency, transcription, linguistic annotation, editing and proofreading, cultural competency, attention to detail.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.
• High attention to detail when reviewing technical or domain-specific documentation.
• Self-motivated and reliable within an asynchronous remote work environment.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Understanding of cultural nuances and regional dialects within Telugu-speaking communities.
• Capacity to manage deliverables autonomously in a remote, self-directed setting.
• Compensation Band: $10 - $24/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
