ActiveHired is expanding its remote specialist bench with a Online U.S. Licensed Legal Counsel — AI Case Reasoning & Analysis — Generative AI Domain Expert at $100 - $170/hour. Contributors work asynchronously from home across major English-speaking countries, translating real-world workflows in legal reasoning, issue-spotting, legal writing, document review into high-signal training examples and multi-step evaluation criteria for enterprise AI models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver structured redlines and analytical commentary that directly improve how frontier models handle legal workflows.
• Earned Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Active, good-standing bar admission in at least one U.S. state or D.C.
• At least 3+ years of substantive post-J.D. legal practice.
• Strong legal reasoning, issue-spotting, legal writing, and document review skills.
• Evaluate complex legal fact patterns spanning litigation, corporate transactions, and regulatory or compliance matters to spot dispositive issues, statutory risks, and controlling legal doctrine.
• Audit model-drafted legal memoranda, briefs, and transactional agreements for doctrinal precision, thoroughness, and persuasive logic.

• Compensation Band: $100 - $170/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
