ActiveHired is expanding its remote specialist bench with a Online Postal Clerk — AI Model Training & Evaluation — Generative AI Domain Expert at $30 - $45/hour. Contributors work asynchronously from home across major English-speaking countries, translating real-world workflows in Postage, Shipping, Customs into high-signal training examples and multi-step evaluation criteria for enterprise AI models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Share clear written feedback with the project team, working asynchronously.
• Current, former, or retired USPS frontline experience (postal clerk, sales and service associate, or retail associate)
• 1+ years helping customers in person at a post office counter
• Working knowledge of mail classes, shipping options, postage, tracking, and change of address
• Able to start quickly and commit 15-25 hours/week
• Review sample postal questions and flag any that don’t sound like what real customers ask.
• Write rubrics that define a correct, complete answer on mail classes, shipping options, postage, fees, and shipping labels.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Experience helping a diverse range of customers, including rural and non-English-speaking communities
• Compensation Band: $30 - $45/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
• Available Openings: 10 open positions

• Clear, precise writing
• Not a fit: Mail carrier, mail processing, or private shipping store experience alone
