ActiveHired is expanding its remote specialist bench with a Online National Park Ranger — AI Model Training & Evaluation — Generative AI Domain Expert at $30 - $45/hour. Contributors work asynchronously from home across major English-speaking countries, translating real-world workflows in Permits, Reservations, Safety into high-signal training examples and multi-step evaluation criteria for enterprise AI models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Share clear written feedback with the project team, working asynchronously.
• Current, former, or seasonal National Park Service experience (park ranger, interpretive ranger, or visitor services staff)
• 1+ years answering visitor questions or working with passes, permits, reservations, or fees
• Working knowledge of park regulations and visitor safety
• Able to start quickly and commit 15-25 hours/week
• Review sample national park questions and flag any that don’t sound like what real visitors ask.
• Write rubrics that define a correct, complete answer on park passes, entrance fees, permits, and reservations.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Compensation Band: $30 - $45/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)

• Clear, precise writing
• Practical background using digital reservation and pass systems (such as Recreation.gov)
• Experience delivering interpretive programs
