ActiveHired is expanding its remote specialist bench with a Online M&A Investment Banking & Valuation Modeling Advisor — Financial AI Benchmarking — Generative AI Domain Expert at $175 - $300/hour. Contributors work asynchronously from home across major English-speaking countries, translating real-world workflows in financial modeling, excel, company and industry research, comparable company analysis into high-signal training examples and multi-step evaluation criteria for enterprise AI models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze and critique sample materials for numerical errors, weak strategy, or unclear logic, providing actionable feedback for improvement.
• Explain accounting treatments, valuation adjustments, deal sensitivities, and trace how key assumptions influence analytical outcomes.
• Deliver precise written and verbal explanations of complex financial concepts tailored to diverse audiences, leveraging strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated professional or academic background in financial modeling, excel, company and industry research, comparable company analysis, pitchbook preparation, transaction analysis.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.
• High attention to detail when reviewing technical or domain-specific documentation.
• Self-motivated and reliable within an asynchronous remote work environment.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and actionable feedback.
• Ability to identify and clearly articulate quantitative inaccuracies and strategic weaknesses in transaction materials.
• Compensation Band: $175 - $300/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
