ActiveHired is expanding its remote specialist bench with a Online Mechanical CAD Specialist — AI Model Training & Evaluation — Generative AI Domain Expert at $40 - $80/hour. Contributors work asynchronously from home across major English-speaking countries, translating real-world workflows in freecad, solidworks, catia, autodesk inventor into high-signal training examples and multi-step evaluation criteria for enterprise AI models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Submit high-quality deliverables within agreed-upon project parameters, maintaining clear and prompt communication with project coordinators.
• Leverage written and verbal communication skills to clarify ambiguities and collaborate effectively within a distributed team environment.
• Demonstrated professional or academic background in freecad, solidworks, catia, autodesk inventor, mechanical assembly analysis, engineering drawing interpretation.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.
• High attention to detail when reviewing technical or domain-specific documentation.
• Self-motivated and reliable within an asynchronous remote work environment.
• Analyze multi-part mechanical assemblies provided in native FreeCAD files, ensuring full understanding of component relationships and assembly design intent.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on documenting technical insights for varied audiences.
• Ability to work independently, manage deliverables, and adapt to project requirements in a remote context.
• Compensation Band: $40 - $80/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
