ActiveHired is expanding its remote specialist bench with a Online Equity/Investment Research Analyst — Financial AI Benchmarking — Generative AI Domain Expert at $175 - $300/hour. Contributors work asynchronously from home across major English-speaking countries, translating real-world workflows in equity research, financial modeling, earnings analysis, peer benchmarking into high-signal training examples and multi-step evaluation criteria for enterprise AI models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate investment theses, connecting qualitative and quantitative factors to actionable perspectives.
• Identify key industry trends, sector-specific metrics, and company catalysts relevant for fundamental analysis.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to provide feedback on data quality and enhance research-related content.
• Demonstrated professional or academic background in equity research, financial modeling, earnings analysis, peer benchmarking, sector expertise, investment thesis development.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.
• High attention to detail when reviewing technical or domain-specific documentation.
• Self-motivated and reliable within an asynchronous remote work environment.

Skills & Experience Needed

• History of performing granular earnings analysis, peer benchmarking, valuation, and event-driven research updates.
• Experience formulating and defending investment theses and research views, with accountability for research accuracy and quality.
• Compensation Band: $175 - $300/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
• Available Openings: 25 open positions

• Extensive experience as a sell-side Research Associate with direct ownership of company models and written research, or as a publishing/lead Research Analyst (titles may include VP or Director).
