ActiveHired is expanding its remote specialist bench with a Online Member of Technical Staff, Enterprise AI (Full-Time Remote) — Generative AI Domain Expert at $300,000 - $700,000/year. Contributors work asynchronously from home across major English-speaking countries, translating real-world workflows in Research Signal Judgment, ML-Oriented Data Design, Ops-to-Research Translation, Enterprise AI into high-signal training examples and multi-step evaluation criteria for enterprise AI models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Produce clear, decision-oriented analyses of system behavior and performance.
• Develop and benchmark agentic workflows, focusing on robustness and scalability.
• Build lightweight tooling to support evaluation, data curation, and rapid iteration.
• Contribute to internal and external research artifacts, including reports and benchmarks.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
• Strong judgment for research signal quality, including data selection and evaluation design.
• Experience designing datasets and evaluation frameworks for ML systems.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Contributions to benchmarks, research publications, or open research initiatives.
• Exposure to enterprise AI deployments or forward-deployed research models.

• The national pay range for this full-time position is base salary of $200,000 –$250,000 USD. All employees are eligible for equity compensation, and employees may also receive performance-based bonuses, dependent on role and subject to company policies. our AI research partner provides a comprehensive benefits package, including up to 100% reimbursement for health-insurance premiums, paid time off, a 401(K) plan with a company match, and additional benefits designed to support a high-performing, remote-first workforce.
